Aloha,I am looking for ohana belonging to ELIZABETH WAHINEKAPU(KEKAPA) on Molokai she is the twin of my grandmother ELIZABETH KA'AHULANI KEKAPA b.May 1900 Ka'u,Hawaii. Elizabeth Wahinekapu (Kekapa) was given away to a family on Molokai where I was told lived her entire life there. This is all the information I have. She is the daughter of [birth parents] Pilikiano/Kailiano Kekapa baptised as: John Lewia Kekapa and Marie Kalopi Wahinekapu. Many children came out of this marriage but,I now know one was given away my tutu's sister ELIZABETH WAHINEKAPU of Molokai.

Aloha,

Anybody know anything about the name Keaweehu?  I'm from Waioli Ahu (Hanalei) on Kaua'i but maybe they originated on another island.  Any help would be great.

Mahalo,

-Dustin

Aloha,

I was wondering if you may have info regarding Daniel Pupuka (c1860-1915) born Niulii, Kohala married Kaleo Kaiama (c1857-1899) and Wahineaukai Pupuka aka Mary (c1867-1890) married Nicholas Perez (had 8 kids).  Wahineaukai's parents are Kainakuilua (Kaainakuilua/Kanekuilua) and Pupuka (k).  Tutu Daniels parents are Pupuhi (k) and Kanilii (w)

The high chiefess Kalola (w) was a Pupuka?
Mahalo!

Hi Anson, wow pleasant surprise.  I know some of your family history.  Are you related to uncle Sonny.  I did some research when last in Hawaii just on your side roots begin in Kauai. Sam Kapohu Paalua - brother of Harry Haiha born 1/30/1881 Sam& wife Kealohanui

Sam Kapohu Paalua - brother of Harry Haiha born 1/30/1881
Sam's wife Kealohanui Sam's mom  Hoomananui. Hoomananui's kids
Sam  - kids Slyvester and Lily Kapohu who were hanai'd to Harry and Sarah.Paalua Haiha.  Slvester married married Esther Kihei Kaniaupio, their kids were:;Hattie, Lily, Slvester Haiha-Paalua, Kahukula Kapohu Paalua.
Does any of this sound familiar.  Uncle Sonny Haiha Paalua would probably know more if fact I know he does.  I visited him and he showed me his records.  I still have to send him a picture of lily and sarah.  Sarah Paalua Haiha is my great grandmother - mother to my grandfather Charles Mitchell.  We've been trying to find out what Sarah and Charles names where when they were born.  You're related to Samuel Kipi son of Ho'omanawanui.
